Big Lake Firefighter's 56th Annual Firework Show - Mount Vernon

July 3rd at 9:30 pm 

Big Lake Fire Department

This is the 56th fireworks show the department has put on. It’s a fundraiser for the Big Lake Firefighters’ Association, which uses the donations collected before and the day of the event, to outfit the district’s trucks and purchase equipment.
The show, one of the longest-running Fourth of July events in Skagit County, takes place after dark each year on July 3 once it gets dark enough. A five-minute warning shot will be released so onlookers can find a seat with a view.
It is estimated that more than 40,000 people will be at Big Lake that night. Boats must stay at least 400 feet away from the fireworks barge. Carpooling is highly recommended to contain parking to private driveways.

44th Annual Fourth of July Parade & Ice Cream Social - Downtown Stanwood

July 4th, 10:30 am - 1:30 pm  

Floyd Norgaard Cultural Center

Children, adults, musicians and their instruments, firemen, Veterans, Scouts and all interested groups can participate. Bring horses and farm animals, antique cars, floats, fire trucks, farm or logging implements and wagons to the celebration of Independence Day! No pre-registration necessary. Costume contest for children under 12 for the best costume depicting a patriotic or United States history theme. Monetary
prizes will be awarded for the best in each category!
11 a.m. - Parade Begins. All participants should meet at the Josephine parking lot between 10:30 and 11 a.m. on Thursday morning.
11:30 a.m. - Short program and presentation of the awards at the Floyd Norgaard Cultural Center.
Noon - FREE Ice Cream Social with Fresh Strawberries& Ice Cream!

Welcome to the Official Loggerodeo™ at the Chainsaw Carving Capitol of Washington State and the Pacific Northwest in Sedro-Woolley!!
We are celebrating the longest running 4th of July celebration in Washington State.
Sedro-Woolley will host a number of activities during the 4th of July celebration; Loggerodeo™, as well as the longest running International, invitation only, chainsaw carving competition.  Each year there is a Rodeo for Cowboys and Cowgirls, for the best all around points on the circuit. This takes place at the Rodeo grounds at Highway 20 and Polte Road. Two of the main events are : The “Loggerodeo™”. A rodeo for loggers demonstrating each task a logger is required to perform in their work each day, to include pole climbing, and Chainsaw Carving. Armed with a chainsaw, axe and a few tools, “Chainsaw Carvers” whittle an 8 foot high, 3 foot wide piece of Cedar into some of the most amazing art forms found anywhere. These men and women put on a show for up to 20,000 visitors and tourist each 4th of July. This select group of individuals have proven their skills and abilities, and gone on to become national and world champions. Bring your family to scenic Skagit County and spend the day or the weekend in historic La Conner enjoying an old fashioned 4th of July. Drive in for the day or stay the weekend at one of La Conner's charming lodging options. Cruise in with your boat and moor at the Port of Skagit’s premiere designation Marina. A community parade, hot dogs, three legged races, a watermelon eating contest. Browse the eclectic array of specialty shops, museums, and art and craft galleries. Finish your old fashion 4th of July in La Conner enjoying a FREE outdoor concert with bands the Side Project and The Fantasy Band
The parade starts at 12:00 with a community picnic and children's events following at Pioneer Park. The evening concert at the Port of Skagit Marina is from 6:00 to 10 pm. Beer/wine garden and food vendors open at 5:00 pm.
A spectacular Fireworks Show by Western Display will finish off your 4th of July in La Conner. This year's event will be a Fundraiser for the La Conner School District Music Program with proceeds from the Beer Garden and raffle.
